StopScroll Privacy Policy

1. Overview

StopScroll is provided to help individuals manage their own device usage through Apple Screen Time technologies, including Family Controls, Device Activity, Managed Settings, and Shield extensions.

StopScroll is not a medical, therapy, addiction treatment, or emergency service product.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

StopScroll does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. We do not operate an account system or backend server for this version of the app.

• No account registration or login information is collected.
• No advertising identifier is collected.
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDK is included.
• No browsing content, message content, photos, contacts, precise location, or microphone data is collected.
• No device or usage data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.

StopScroll 当前版本不收集、不上传、不出售、不出租、不共享个人数据，也没有账号系统或后端服务器。

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To make the app work, StopScroll stores a small amount of information locally on your device, such as:

• Your StopScroll rules and settings.
• Whether onboarding has been completed.
• Local StopScroll event records, such as when a shield was triggered, when you paused, when you temporarily allowed access, or when you completed a 60-second buffer.
• Opaque app or category selection tokens provided by Apple Family Controls, used only to apply your chosen Screen Time rules.

This local information is stored in the app container or app group container so the main app and its Screen Time extensions can work together. It is not sent to us.

为了让主 App 和 Screen Time 扩展协同工作，StopScroll 会在本机保存规则、设置、本机统计记录和 Apple Family Controls 提供的系统 token。这些信息不会发送给我们。

4. Screen Time and Family Controls

StopScroll uses Apple Family Controls and related Screen Time frameworks only after you grant permission through iOS. The selected apps or categories are represented by Apple-provided tokens. StopScroll uses those tokens to apply your chosen rules and show the system shield experience.

StopScroll does not use Family Controls data for advertising, advertising measurement, user profiling, or selling data.

StopScroll 只在你通过 iOS 授权后使用 Apple Family Controls。你选择的 App 或分类会以 Apple 提供的 token 形式保存，用于本机规则和系统屏蔽页，不用于广告、广告测量、画像或出售数据。

5. No Third-Party Sharing

Because this version of StopScroll does not collect data from the app, we do not share app data with third parties. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

当前版本没有第三方分析、广告或追踪 SDK，也不会把应用数据分享给第三方。

6. Data Deletion

You can clear local StopScroll statistics inside the app from Settings. You may also delete the app from your device to remove locally stored app data associated with StopScroll, subject to how iOS handles app data and device backups.

你可以在 StopScroll 的设置页清空本地统计。也可以从设备中删除 App，以移除与 StopScroll 相关的本机应用数据；具体还会受到 iOS 对应用数据和设备备份机制的影响。

7. Children and Family Use

StopScroll is intended for personal device management and mindful device usage. If a parent or guardian uses Apple Family Sharing and Screen Time features with a child, Apple’s own Screen Time and Family Sharing settings also apply.

StopScroll 主要用于个人设备管理。如果父母或监护人通过 Apple Family Sharing 和 Screen Time 功能管理儿童设备，也需遵守 Apple 自身的相关设置和规则。

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or on this page.

如果应用功能发生变化，我们可能更新本隐私政策。发生重要变更时，我们会更新页面顶部的日期，并在适当情况下通过 App 或本页面说明。
